Everything is made after you order. We confirm timing by text when you send your order, and bake Monday to Thursday.
In hot weather we bake close to your collection time and keep everything cool until you arrive. Because you collect in person, chocolate never sits in a hot vehicle or depot — which is one quiet advantage of collection over shipping.
No. Ohio's cottage food rules list exactly where we may sell: from the home where the food is produced, through licensed grocery stores and registered farm markets, at farmers markets, in licensed restaurants, and at short festivals organised by a local authority. Courier delivery and mail are not on that list. Shipping needs a licensed commercial kitchen, which is what we are working towards.
Sealed, between 16 and 18°C, away from light and strong smells. Do not refrigerate: condensation causes sugar bloom and cocoa butter absorbs fridge odours.
Every product page lists its allergens in full. Our brownies contain wheat, egg and milk; the walnut brownie also contains tree nuts. All products are made in a kitchen that handles milk and nuts.
Yes, free on every order. We copy it out by hand onto a card, and prices never appear on a gift parcel.
